Student Work

Gränsfors Bruk is a small Swedish company that manufactures axes just as they did in the days of yore,

when they used to kill people for stealing chickens and stuff.

"Blessed Are The Amputees"

The Swedish Historical Society recently sent a thank you note to the ax-makers at Gränsfors Bruk.

It reads, "Thank you for giving our ancestors the tool to cut our country free from wilderness, wildlife, and frostbite.

"If we weren't a nation descended from the fingerless and toeless, we may not be a nation at all."

To them we say, it's true.

And while it's not always pretty,

history had to be made one cut at a time.

Gränsfors Bruk.

Makers of axes that made Swedish history.

"The Battle of Aclea"

Though little is known of the Nordic Battle of Aclea, it is assured that the sharpness of the Vikings' axes played no small role in their victory.

For cutting trees into lumber for their boats.

For cutting lumber into arrows for their quivers.

For cutting heads into skulls for decorating their cottages.

It's true.

And while it's not always pretty,

history had to be made one cut at a time.

Gränsfors Bruk.

Makers of axes that made Swedish history.

Collectible Packaging

Nothing gets people more pumped to buy axes than a really macho headline burned onto the front of a wood box.

What's more, inside they'll find some goodies like a leather ax sheath and a sharpening tool. Oh, and an ax. Boss.

Wilderness to Country: Mobile Game

In between murdering trees in real life, maybe you want to take a breather to cut down some vikings on your mobile device.

Target Practice

After cracking some digital skulls, you can download posters of your nordic foes off the Gränsfors Bruk site to crack some paper ones.
